Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 21, 2026 Effective immediately

Aleksei Vladimir Volik, IE ("us", "we", or "our") operates the Beaura mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information obtained through the App. By using Beaura, you understand and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

⚠ Important Notice — Entertainment Purpose Only

Beaura is an entertainment and self-improvement tool only. The facial analysis, attractiveness scores, symmetry ratings, and any other assessments provided by the App are generated by artificial intelligence and are not scientifically validated, medically accurate, or professionally certified. Results are subjective, may vary between sessions, and should not be interpreted as an objective measure of physical appearance, health, or worth. The App is not a medical or psychological service, and its results should not influence personal, medical, or professional decisions. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of any analysis.

01 Information We Collect

1.1 Photos and Camera Access

To provide facial analysis features, the App requests access to your device's camera and photo gallery. You may take a photo directly within the App or upload one from your gallery.

Important: Photos you submit are sent to third-party AI providers, including OpenAI API, to generate your analysis and recommendations. We do not permanently store your photos on our own servers and do not use them to identify you, build advertising profiles, or sell your data. Third-party providers process submitted images according to their own privacy policies and data retention practices.

For the AI hairstyle generation feature (available to subscribers), your photo may be sent to an AI image generation provider to create a stylized hairstyle preview. We do not use your photo or generated image for biometric identification, facial recognition, authentication, or advertising profiling.

1.2 Face Data and Photo Processing

Beaura processes face-related data only when you choose to take or upload a portrait photo for an AI-powered appearance report, full appearance analysis, or hairstyle recommendation.

The face-related data processed by the App may include the portrait photo you submit and AI-generated observations about visible facial features, facial harmony, proportions, expressiveness, hairstyle suitability, and style presentation.

Beaura does not use face data for identity verification, user identification, authentication, facial recognition, or biometric profiling. We do not create biometric identifiers or face templates.

Face data is used only to provide the requested App features, including the free Face Report, full detailed appearance report, and AI hairstyle recommendations. We do not use face data for advertising, tracking, selling user data, or building advertising profiles.

To generate AI results, the uploaded photo may be transmitted to our backend infrastructure through Supabase Edge Functions and to third-party AI processing providers, including OpenAI. RevenueCat is used for subscription management and does not receive face photos or face analysis data.

We do not permanently store uploaded face photos in our own database or Supabase Storage. Photos are processed only for the purpose of generating the requested result. Generated reports may be stored locally on your device as part of the App history until you delete the report, clear App data, or uninstall the App.

Third-party AI providers may temporarily process and retain API data according to their own data handling and abuse monitoring policies. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring purposes, unless a different retention setting applies.

1.3 Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored locally on your device only and is not transmitted to our servers:

If you delete the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

1.4 Analytics and Usage Data

We collect non-personal usage data through third-party analytics services to improve the App. This may include:

This data is used in aggregated form and is not used to personally identify you.

1.5 Advertising Tracking (ATT)

In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, we may request permission to access your advertising identifier (IDFA) for campaign attribution purposes. You may allow or deny this at any time through your device settings. Denying tracking will not affect core App functionality.

1.6 Subscription and Purchase Data

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect an anonymous subscription ID, purchase history, subscription status, and renewal dates. Payment information is processed entirely by Apple — we never access your payment details.

Note: Unused daily generations do not carry over to the following day.

04 AI Analysis — Limitations & Disclaimer

All facial analysis results, including attractiveness scores, symmetry measurements, feature assessments, and recommendations, are produced by artificial intelligence models (OpenAI API). By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:

If you have concerns about your appearance, health, or mental wellbeing, please consult a qualified professional.

05 Third-Party Services

5.4 Analytics and Attribution Services

However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08 Data Retention

Photos submitted for AI analysis are not permanently stored by us in our own database or Supabase Storage. Photos are processed only to generate the requested AI result. Generated reports and hairstyle outputs may remain stored locally on your device as part of the App history until you delete them, clear App data, or uninstall the App.

Third-party AI providers may temporarily process and retain API data according to their own data handling and abuse monitoring policies. OpenAI may retain API inputs and outputs for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring purposes, unless a different retention setting applies.

Subscription and purchase records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat as required to manage subscriptions, receipts, refunds, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Analytics and attribution data may be retained by our service providers according to their own retention policies.

09 Your Rights and Choices

10 Children's Privacy

Beaura is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children. If you are under the age of majority in your country or region, you should use the App only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

Because Beaura includes AI-based appearance analysis and self-improvement features, we encourage parents and guardians to supervise younger users and help them understand that all results are subjective, AI-generated, and provided for entertainment and informational purposes only.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided us with data without appropriate consent, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States, where our service providers (including OpenAI and RevenueCat) operate. These countries may have data protection laws different from your own. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.
